Our newly built farm lays in San Genesio on the Tschögglberg at an altitude of around 1.255 metres above see level and only 11 kilometres North from the South Tyrolean provincial capital of Bolzano. From here you enjoy an incredible view over the majestic Dolomites: the Ortles group, the Ötztaler und the Sarentine Alps, which create an imposing background. Salto, the widest high plateau with larches stand, is very close to our farm. One of many hiking trails crosses the area near the farm. If you want to enjoy a holiday at a horse farm in a breathtaking surrounding, here with us you are in the right place!

Most central position

Here at our farm you will find in the heart of South Tyrol. You are not far away from Bolzano, Merano or Bressanone. If you look for a wine, hiking or ski area, starting from the Wietererhof, you can plan your holiday as you wish, with a lot of variety. On the Salto with its variegated alpine flora you can go along one of the numerous hiking trails, from which there is also one that passes along the farm.

Welcome riding!

During your wonderful holiday at the horse farm, you can obviously go on horseback both if you have and also if you do not have any experience. Our Hafling horses and Shetland ponies already wait for you and your families. As horse growers for various generations we are really horse friends and want to share this passion also with you.

Cooperation at the farm

In this kind of holiday you have the chance to fully experience the South Tyrolean farm life. From rabbits over calves, cats, dogs, goats, hens and obviously also our horses and ponies, at our farm there are many animals to be cared, so that you can also take actively part to the stable works or in the rest of the farm area. Upon request we can show you, according to your wishes, which is the daily routine of the farmer.

After your hiking tour, a day on horseback or a busy working day at the farm you can fully relax in one of our wide sized and best equipped apartments. Let conclude your day with a goods glass of wine and the wonderful panorama view over the majestic Dolomites at dusk. Tomorrow a new beautiful adventure will wait for you.
